• Specification & design of microcontroller systems, analogue & power electronics.
• Sector technology trends analysis together with competitor assessment.
• Renewable energy systems - selection, application, & integration of wind, water & photo-voltaics for micro-grid applications.
• Lithium ion & lead-acid batteries - management & regime optimisation.
• Mechanical design - enclosures & mounting arrangements.
• Magnetics design -  electronic components, actuators.
• Compliance - design & submission for compliance with the Low Voltage & EMC Directives, including automotive (e-mark) & UN standards (E-mark). Preparation of technical construction files where required.
• Military standards - DEF-STAN 59-411 EMC, plus some limited experience with Tempest (NATO SDIP-27, formerly AMSG720).
• Web site implementation using CMS's, html & php scripting.
